Where it all started for gouwsberg tuli's

Gouwsberg Tulis Stud was established in 1996 on the farm Klipeiland in Bronkhorstspruit.

The cattle herd is a mixture between Bosvelder, Brahman and Limousin cattle. The first commercial herd was purchased in September 1996 from neighboring farms and the first 2 bulls, named Jumbo and Boomerang, were introduced onto their farm in 1997. After their successful first season, they decided to invest in more Tuli Bulls from Jambo Stud in Zimbabwe.

Gouwsberg Tulis was registered with SA Studbook in 2009 and has been dedicated to the breeding standards with their mission to breed fertile, strong and hardy cattle for stud and commercial farmers in South Africa.

Gouwsberg Tuli Stud’s bulls go through intense performance and genetic testing to provide the best quality of Tuli Cattle. Their cows are selected through a process to ensure good fertility rates, milk production and constitution to the veld.

Tuli cattle is an excellent low maintenance breed with excellent fertility and ability to thrive under extensive conditions.
